In the League, program planning has a special meaning. This process generates study ideas at the grass roots level and results in adopting one or more studies at a League convention. Each study group welcomes and needs participation of all members. Please contact Vice President for Programs (Mary Alice Garza) to let her know your interest in participating.

Human Trafficking: On January 31, 2013, the League of Women Voters of Plano/Collin County sponsored a public forum relating to the issues associated with human trafficking (see press release). There was a presentation by guest speakers discussing the scope of the problem in Collin County, law enforcement responsibilities, resources for information related to human trafficking, and comments from a survivor who was subjected to human trafficking.
