spring elections 2
Upcoming Elections
The primary elections are over, except for races where the leading candidate did not get more than 50% of the votes cast. Runoffs for those races will be May 24, with early voting from May 16 - 20.

In the meantime, Collin County voters have two other upcoming elections: Frisco City Council Special Election Runoff, March 26 (early voting March 9-22), and local elections for city council members and ISD trustees May 7 (early voting April 25 – May 3). The May 7 ballot will also include two proposed amendments to the Texas Constitution that were approved by the state legislature at a special session last fall, too late to appear on the November 2, 2021, ballot with other proposed amendments.

For all upcoming elections, printable LWV-CC Voters Guides will be available before early voting starts at www.LWVCollin.org/voters-guides. Or enter your home address at www.VOTE411.org to see a customized ballot, with side-by-side comparisons of candidates.

Visit www.LWVCollin.org for key election dates, videos on how to vote by mail, and other election information.

Spring 2022 Voting Stories
Share Your Primary Voting Stories
Texas has a new voting law. The League of Women Voters of Texas is gathering stories from Texas voters about voting in the March 1st Texas Primary Election. How was your voting experience? And if you are comfortable sharing your friends' and family's voting experience in 2022, we welcome that too.

Your story will help the League learn about how new voting procedures impacted Texas voters and any challenges you experienced. By filling out this survey you are agreeing that we can use the information to pull out a collective story without using personal identifying information. We will use this information to enhance voter education and to advocate at the Capitol for improvements to voting in Texas on behalf of voters.
