Celebrating 50 Years of the League of Women Voters of Collin County
 
March 30 | 4:00 – 8:00 PM
BarnHill Vineyards, Anna, TX
 
Join the Collin County League of Women Voters to celebrate our 50th anniversary! We will recognize women and organizations focused on the League's mission of “Empowering voters. Defending democracy”.

The event is on March 30, 4 - 8 PM, at the BarnHill Vineyards in Anna, TX.

The evening will include music by Standards Gazette, Spring Creek BBQ dinner, wine from BarnHill Vineyards, and non-alcoholic drinks. We will have a trivia contest and a silent auction!
 
Tickets are $55 - all are welcome. Invite your friends and family to our celebration!

Book Club Updated
Book Club
 
All are invited to the League of Women Voters of Collin County Book Club on Wednesday, March 12 at  7:00-8:00 pm. We will meet on Zoom to discuss American Idolatry: How Christian Nationalism Betrays the Gospel and Threatens the Church by Andrew L. Whitehead.
 
We will share our nonpartisan thoughts on the book as well as various discussion questions. Click here to register and receive the Zoom link. If you are a member, log in on the website before registering.
 
The book club has also decided on the last book that they will be reading this League year. In May they will read First Lie Wins by Ashley Elston.

Enjoy great conversation and connection at one of our upcoming LWV-CC social lunches. These events are open to all and provide a chance to discuss important issues while upholding the League’s nonpartisan policy of not supporting or opposing any candidate or political party.
