Fake or Fact? A Public Forum on False Information

LWV-CC will host a free public forum about media literacy and how to identify misinformation and disinformation on September 30 6:30-8:00 pm at the Haggard Library in Plano. Our presenter will be Dr. Lauren Ratliff Santoro, Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Texas at Dallas. She teaches a course on 'fake news'. This is a great opportunity to learn and be better prepared prior to the November election. This event is not sponsored by the Plano Public Library System or the City of Plano. Register here. LWV Offers Variable Dues in 2025

In early 2025, LWV plans to simplify the join/renew process and offer variable dues using a pay-what-you-can model, with a recommendation of $75. Household members will each have their own account.
