Celebrating 50 Years of the League of Women Voters of Collin County
March 30 | 4:00 – 8:00
BarnHill Vineyards, Anna, TX
Join us for our 50th Anniversary Celebration at BarnHill Vineyards!
It’s hard to believe the League of Women Voters has been accomplishing our mission of 'Empowering voters. Defending democracy.' for 50 years!
Meg Titus founded the Collin County League in 1974. We will be celebrating this achievement by recognizing people who have been core to our mission in the past year.
BarnHill Vineyards is a scenic venue in the Anna, Texas countryside. The facility accommodates all weather conditions. If it's cold or raining we will be inside the “barn” with heaters. If the weather is nice we can wander the grounds and sit outside. BarnHill Vineyards serves Texas varietal wine from grapes all over Texas. Your ticket includes wine and non-alcoholic drinks. Check out the venue here.
We will be entertained by Standards Gazette, a North Texas duo playing guitar and singing our favorites.
Spring Creek Barbeque will provide your favorite meat and sides buffet dinner. Central Market will be providing light appetizers and desserts!
And finally, we will be playing some LWV trivia!
