How are we organized?
Members
Joining LWV includes membership at the local, state, and national levels. Members may choose to participate as many or as few activities as they like. Activities include registering voters, assisting with candidate forums, creating Voters Guides, studying timely issues, and more.
Board of Directors
Officers: President, Vice-President Program, Vice-President Voters Services, Treasurer, Secretary
Directors: up to 5 elected directors and up to 6 appointed directors
Board of Directors meetings are held monthly and are open to all members.
Annual Meeting
An annual meeting is held each May to adopt a budget and local program plan, approve bylaws changes, and elect incoming officers, directors, and nominating committee chair. All members are invited to participate.
